Pooja is certified by the Rehabilitation Council of India and is a member of ISHA (Indian Speech & Hearing Association). She is also certified in therapeutic listening, a music-based intervention programme that supports sensory integration, communication, and listening. She has served as the Speech and Language Therapy department coordinator at The Gateway School of Mumbai for nine years. She has also consulted with and mentored various therapists and school teachers. With a solid background in working with children with communication disorders, she gained valuable experience through working with paediatricians, neurologists, ENT specialists, special educators, and mainstream teachers in various Mumbai hospitals and schools. She has significant experience in serving children and adults with various challenges, including those related to language, articulation, fluency, and listening comprehension, through oro-motor therapy and social and pragmatic intervention. She is keenly interested in conducting group-based intervention services and working with a multidisciplinary team.
