Urvi has 13 years of experience in paediatric rehabilitation and education for children with special needs. She is a founding member of The Gateway School of Mumbai (GSoM). Currently, Urvi heads the Occupational and Physical Therapy department at the school. Besides her role at GSoM, she runs a private practice in South Mumbai. Throughout her career, Urvi has taken on various roles such as consulting therapist, school consultation, outreach work, mentoring, and training. She has received training and international certification in various evidence-based practices and techniques in paediatric rehabilitation including training and certifications.
